Update!!

So we went to the doctors this morning and came home with some GOOD news finally!!!

I'm so frickin sick of bad news!

Eve's chest sounds great! All the crackles in her left lung have disappeared after a week of her

newest antibiotic and her wheeze has completely gone!!

BUT......

She comes off the steroids in 2 days so there is a big chance the wheezing will start again! Last

time we stopped the steroids it returned after 24hrs!!

If that happens her docs will probably put her on a daily steroid inhaler which isn't a big deal.

Just a bit of a pain.

So Eve gets to spend New Years Day-her 5th birthday at HOME!!!!!

I just realised today that Eve has been sick for 19weeks solid.

During those 19wks she has had

*6 bad lung infections

*2 weeks of IV's

*16 weeks of oral antibiotics (not including her maintenance abx)

*and only 1 week free of meds

Sad, but reality.

CF's a bitch.......but Eve gets on with it!
