Sad...and mad.

So tomorrow we have clinic again :(

Not looking forward to it as they have said they will admit Eve if she hasnt improved, which she kind of hasnt!

She is sleeping well again, but her cough is still awful! Its ripping through her chest and making her breathing sound so strained!

I hate to hear her like that...it's the worst sound in the world!

This virus needs to go now and bring the Steno with it!!!

Today I had a very hard day, as did all Irish CF patients and parents.

Our Country is useless; our friends and family members are suffering every day and our government refuse to do anything about it.

When an adult CF patient (18yrs and up) gets admitted to hospital in this Country, they are thrown in a room with 5 other people who have Pneumonia, Alzheimers, MRSA...and so on. They are forced to recouperate in these awful conditions. This SCARES me!!

Listening to the news reports the last few days have just made me so sad. Mad also, but mainly just sad.

Sad for our CF friends.

Sad for their families.

Sad for our healthcare system.

Sad for our Country.

Sad for our children and the future that they are faced with!

It's unfair. A first world Country treating their CF patients like second class citizens.

It's not right....and something MUST be done!!

We will fight and fight and fight...and pray that things will change.

But I wont hold my breath....even though our CFers are being forced to hold theirs.
